Jhonni Blaze was born on June 10th, Jzapal Jackson, 1 of 8 children of German and African American descent, grew up in NY and attended Hillcrest High School. Most commonly known as the “Twerk Queen”, Video Vixen Jhonni Blaze is known for her astonishing figure and breathtakingly good looks. Jhonni Blaze is Internationally notable for her alluring presence in over 30 well-known recording artists’ music videos that include Chris Browns’ Spend It All,French Montana’s She Loves It, Young Berg, Jim Jones, Jadakiss, and many others.
Uncommonly known, Jhonni Blaze is also an astounding musically entwined artist. Entirely savvy with the Piano, Acoustic and Bass Guitar, Violin, Clarinet and Drums. At the tender young age of 17, Jhonni’s goal was to attend Juilliard Performing Arts School, known as one of the world’s leading music schools with one of the most prestigious art programs. Unfortunately, knowing the classical music that flows through her heart verbatim was not enough for admission. Determined, she would not be stopped from auditioning. She managed to land an audition, but unfortunately was denied acceptance for not being able to properly read music. This was not a failure, but yet a redirection. Music is the number one passion for this young trailblazer. Jhonni Blaze has performed at The Apollo Theatre and has had the chance to perform overseas with Gospel Singers Mary Mary.
R&B, pop, and rap music are her forte’. Her musical influences are Sade, Prince, Mariah Carey, Missy Elliot, Lauren Hill and India Arie. Jhonni Blaze is also inspired by her mentors the infamous DJ K Sway Calloway and others, which include Z Ro, Kevin Gates, Rico Love, Drake, Lucci The Producer, R&B Singing group 112 and rap artists’ Method Man and Redman who also gave the young vixen her name. “They gave me Blaze, because they said I was always a hothead”.
Modeling and being a Vixen has brought Jhonni Blaze to where she is today. She has graced the covers and/or pages of many that include King, XXL, iDYMES, Stunnaz, B.A.D.D., Straight Stuntin, Diamond Girls, 2 Loud Magazine, Shygirl, Hip Hop Weekly, TMZ, MediaTakeOut.com and Black Mens Magazine.
Jhonni Blaze is currently working with Rich Dollaz for future projects on VH1 as well as her EP that is coming soon. When she is not gracing the covers of countless magazines and blog sites, Jhonni Blaze is either in the gym, studio or spending time with family. A natural humanitarian, Jhonni Blaze assists with many charities and sponsors an Ethiopian child monthly.
